lamps

I am looking for a lamp for the entrance in my apartment, I was thinking to do something like the one showed in the picture but with crochet. Do you have any tip or pattern to suggest? I want to do something with a warm colour like red because there is a Vertigo poster close to the door.

ps: the lamps in the pictures are made by the US company Artecnicainc, and are called Grand Trianon (large lightweight chandelier made of post-consumer coated Tyvek).
